About Our Choirs

Aurora (Children's Choir) is the perfect place for young singers to discover the joy of making music together. Designed for children who love to sing, whether they're brand new to choir or already enjoy making music, Aurora introduces the fundamentals of choral singing through engaging, age-appropriate activities. Singers develop healthy vocal habits, music literacy, rhythm, and creative expression while exploring movement, music technology, instruments, and traditional choral rehearsal in a fun and encouraging environment. Aurora performs in two major concerts each year, along with community performances and special events, giving every singer the opportunity to share their music with family, friends, and the community.

 

No audition or interview is required to join.

Amiaza (Girls' Choir) is an intermediate choir for girls in grades 6–12 who love to sing and are ready to grow as musicians. Whether singers are building on previous choir experience or continuing their musical journey, Amiaza provides a supportive environment where they develop healthy vocal technique, strengthen musical literacy, and grow in confidence as performers. Through engaging and inspiring treble repertoire, singers experience the joy of making music together while building lasting friendships. Amiaza performs two major concerts each year, participates in community performances and special events, and tours domestically each season.

Serata (Boys' Choir) is an intermediate choir for boys in grades 6–12 with unchanged, changing, or changed voices. Whether singers are building on previous choir experience or continuing their musical journey, Serata provides a supportive environment where they develop healthy vocal technique, musical independence, and strong ensemble skills. Through engaging, flexibly voiced repertoire, singers grow as musicians while forming lasting friendships and discovering the joy of making music together. Serata performs two major concerts each year, participates in community performances and special events, and tours domestically each season.

Stele (Advanced Treble Choir) is our premier treble ensemble for experienced singers who are passionate about choral music and ready to take their musicianship to the next level. Singers are expected to learn notes and rhythms independently between rehearsals, so that weekly rehearsals can focus on refining vocal technique, musical artistry, and expressive ensemble performance through challenging and rewarding repertoire. Stele performs three major concerts each year, participates in community performances and special events, and tours domestically or internationally, providing memorable musical experiences both on and off the stage.

Placement is based on a required audition.

Voci de Lumina (Advanced Chamber Choir) is our varsity chamber ensemble, chosen by audition from Stele and Serata. In this select ensemble, each singer plays an essential role and is expected to prepare music independently so rehearsals can focus on artistry, ensemble precision, and expressive performance. Voci performs a diverse repertoire spanning classical, contemporary, multicultural, a cappella, and vocal jazz styles. The ensemble performs two major concerts each year, participates in community performances and special events, and tours domestically or internationally.
